Job Summary

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant at FurstPerson, you will have the opportunity to partner with some of the world’s most recognizable companies to design employee selection, performance enhancement, retention, and other business solutions that deliver substantive year-over-year results.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • build and maintain relationships with customers in an on-going, consultative fashion;

  • conduct job analyses to define tasks, responsibilities, and KSAOs;

  • complete validation studies and prepare supporting documentation;

  • prepare and present results to all organizational levels – front-line to C-suite – in a clear, articulate, and compelling manner;

  • partner with customers to identify root-causes issues and design solutions that specifically target the underlying issues;

  • design and implement applicant, employee, and organizational surveys to address customer needs and challenges;

  • perform applied research to strengthen the company’s position as a thought leader in the industry; and

  • work with a talented team of business leaders and consultants who share the same passion for results.

Qualifications and Skills

  • a M.S./M.A. or Ph.D. in I/O Psychology or related field;

  • experience developing and implementing a variety of business solutions;

  • SME-level knowledge of professional standards, legal guidelines, job analysis, employee selection/development, psychological assessment, survey research, validation, and psychometrics/statistics;

  • excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities;

  • exceptional oral and written communication skills; and

  • a strong desire to drive results and value through leading-edge solutions.
